Sunday, September 8th, 2019 marked the first day of National Arts in Education Week 2019!
In 2010, Congress passed the House Resolution 275 which designates the second week of September National Arts in Education Week. During this week, the field of arts education joins together in communities across the country to tell the story of the impact of the transformative power of the arts in education. The 2019 celebration of National Arts in Education Week is dedicated to the memory of Ms. Carol Channing, whose advocacy efforts led to the creation of the national celebration in 2010.
